QWEST PIONEERS MEETING
ARROWHEAD COUNCIL
March 24, 2010

Don reported that there were new people at the Life Member Luncheon and others who haven't been there in awhile. The food is good and plentiful. Parking and accessibility are problems.

We are still working on Hug a Bears. Inter Faith took 10 and we continue to deliver 20 each month to St. Luke’s.

We are adopting 2 beep balls.

Betty is now the Vice-President of Arrowhead Council.

We plan to discuss planting and upkeep of the memorial garden at the April meeting.

Our next board meeting is April 28, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Pioneer Lounge, Fourth Floor Melrose Building in Duluth. All Pioneers and guests are welcome. We now meet the 4th Wednesday of each month.

The “Spirit of Service” ride will be July 17, 2010. Chapter meetings are scheduled for June 11th in St. Cloud, September 10th in Duluth, and December 10th (place not confirmed).

There were 25 Pioneers, Partners, and guests at the March Life Member Luncheon. The next Life Member Luncheon will be May 19, 2010. All are welcome; reservations are necessary.

We meet at 10:00 a.m. on the first and third Monday of each month to work on Hug a Bears or other projects. Please feel free to join us.
