Holiday Luncheon - 2008

HIAWATHALAND  QWEST PIONEERS GATHER FOR HOLIDAY EVENTS
November 8, a crisp bright day was ideal for Hiawathaland Pioneers to come together for their annual Bazaar,
Holiday Luncheon and Quarterly Club Meeting.
MN Chapter 18 Qwest Pioneers Ombudsmen Mavis Hjulberg and Sally Bolster and Pioneer Mary Ann Neuman were welcome visitors for the day.  Close to 50 Pioneers attended the bazaar/luncheon/meeting.
Harry Osborn, the 2009 incoming Chapter President, introduced the newly designed Pioneer logo to the group
and presented some objectives for the coming year.
Current Chapter 18 President, Kathy Hanson, thanked everyone for supporting Pioneer programs and projects.
She gave an overview of the Go Green for Schools project and distributed cell phone recycling bags
to those attending so they could participate in this newest education focused Pioneer program if they wished to.
Janet Lozon, President of the Hiawathaland Club reviewed 2008 activities for attendees.
Jack Wilson will serve as Hiawathaland Club President in 2009.
