Wagon Master Letter

Wow! How time flies.  I hope everyone had a great Xmas and a Happy New Year.  I am trying to get my “SEA LEGS" as your new WAGON MASTER for 2009.  I want to thank Roger Hanson for all the great work he has given the Family Campers during 2008!!  THANK YOU ROGER!!  This is my first Wagon Master Newsletter to our 10,000 LAKES FAMILY CAMPERS for 2009.  I hope I can fill Roger's shoes with the same expertise and energy that He provided.

Joanne and I are having a great time in Las Vegas, NV.  We are staying down here for the winter.  My oldest Son and Family lives in the NW area of the City.  The weather is 60's during the day and in the 40's at night.   The Gas prices have edged to $1.99 a gallon. With a little careful planning we can continue to travel around.  We hope that the prices remain low for our ITPFC 2009 Rally in Michigan.

Dave Hemmer has signed up Gary & Colleen Gallmeier of Stillwater, MN to join our great group.

The MS Tram route has been announced from Ortonville to Montevideo to Redwood Falls to St. Peter to New Prague to Welch Village. The dates are the 26th to the 31st of July 2009. This is the 20th “The Ride Across Minnesota” and maybe we can do something special for our “Famous Rest Stop # 3”.  Dave Hemmer will still be our Supervisor and will provide information as available.  Mark your calendars for the dates.
